last time I heard about Charity hospital they said it was closed with no plans on reopening, I wonder if that is still true

Thank you for those pics and history of Charity N.O.
I lived here all my life and enjoyed reading about CHNO as it was back then.
I remember going there, with my mom and dad, to visit my uncle. My parents took turns staying with me in the front of the hospital where there was a waiting area detatched from the hospital. Obviously, they had a strict policy about children visiting, unlike today when we see parents bring babies to the units, and let them crawl all over the floor. UGH!
