What I actually meant to say was this, no body will be lined up to work there if it is shut down.

Agree with Suzanne4. If you are working in a unionized facility see if your contract has a successor and assigns clause written in to it. If it doesn't make sure you have the union bring it up at the next contract negotiations.

Do you have or can you share a copy of any language you have seen in a contract that protects the union????
