Justice Dept Slams AZHHA

2.4 million nursing hours were provided by travelers last year in AZ. The US Justice Department recently ruled that the AZHHA who has 100 member hospitals in AZ violated antitrust laws. A Sixty day comment period was provided for so any nurses who traveled into AZ can read the proposed ruling and comment on the ruling's adequacy. There is an address at the end of the ruling if you would like to respond. If you think other violations occured that aren't addressed please bring these to thier attention as well. The ruling's link: www.usdoj.gov/atr/cases/azhha.htm

Re: Justice Dept Slams AZHHA

I worked three assignments in AZ during 2004 and 2005. I ended one of my extended contracts early because I felt my license was on the line at the facility, I was threatened by my company that they would fine me because they would be fined by AZDHH... I am thrilled to see the results of this judgement.
