D.C. Nurses Sign New Contract

WASHINGTON - A three-year contract ratified by nurses at Washington Hospital Center provides a 24 percent salary increase in the starting rate of new nursing graduates.
The new rate for graduates will be $24 an hour, compared with a previous rate of $19.41 a hour, according to a news release from the hospital.
