This is a document that NCSBN helped develop with the Federation of State Medical Boards, Association of Social Work Boards, Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy, National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, and the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. It is a collaborative effort by representatives from six regulatory organizations to assist legislators and regulators with making decisions about making changes to healthcare professions' scope of practice.
