OTTAWA, March 23 /CNW/ - The 2004 federal budget confirms the Liberal
government's commitment to improving the health of Canadians. The Canadian
Nurses Association (CNA) was pleased to see investments in of the following
priority areas for nurses, including initiatives to enhance capacity in public
health (surveillance, emergency response, electronic networks), investments in
education and research, and increased funding for municipalities to build
healthier communities.
