The editor of the Best Hospitals edition wrote me and said the following:

Your allnurses.com members may be interested, not only because of the subject material but because one of the many pointed (and outraged) suggestions made in response to the Karen Madsen essay was that we should take a look at this from the POV of a triage nurse. I thought the idea had merit, and so we did.

I love it how all of the hospitals in my state barely make the list in some of the categories. But oh well...

I see they give extra points if the hospital is a magnet hospital. What a joke that is! Looks like the media has bought into that marketing ploy as well.
