Well I'm Tracey, a 19 year old Student Nurse.

I'm in my second year of a BN in childrens nursing in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Will hopefully get a job somewhere in Canada when I'm finished my course. So if there is anyone who works anywhere in Canada let me know what it is like, pay, conditions and if it is French speaking. (I'm learning French but not quite ready to live in a French speaking place yet)

Quebec is the only province that is French-speaking. You may want to look into Montreal, or surrounding areas if you want French, otherwise all of the other provinces are English-speaking.
Many of the provinces are going to require a BSN, if they do not already. More than likely you will need to make up the theory and clinical time in mental health and adult medicine. For licensure in the US and Canada, they require that the nurse be a generalist, not a specialist. Australia follows the same system that you do.

Just thinking, if you are just a second year, and definitely plan on moving to Canada, then perhaps you should reconsider the peds specialty. You will have many more hours to make up to get your hours in for the adult section.
For you to make up the peds hours later in Canada will be much quicker.
