Hello, my name is Katherine. I have been a licenced practical nurse in Vermont for ten years. I am currently trying to get licenced in Ny by endorsment. I have called NURSYS to request a form to get proof of my licence and will be mailing the application soon. I am currently in between jobs and would like to try for some positions in New York. The process of obtaining licence in another state is very arduous and complicated. My question is this: I would like some input from anyone who has tried to do this and welcome any advice you can give me. The process takes 4-6 weeks when all forms a done correctly, much less if done incorrectly. Any input in regard to this process would be greatly appreciated!
