Starting Nursing School

Hey everyone! I am new to this site and am hoping that I can find alot of great resources, and support here. I am starting nursing school in June and want to know if any of you have any advice on how to stay afloat and what are the best study tools you found to get you through it?? What kind of pay is out there for an entry level LVN? Whats the best thing about your jobs? etc. Hope to hear from anyone that has any kind of advice!

Re: Starting Nursing School

Welcome to Allnurses. Good luck to you.

Those questions are probably answered on the various student boards and LPN forums here. Salary does vary depending on locale.

Re: Starting Nursing School

Study hard!
Complete the whole program!
Graduate from the program!
Study hard for NCLEX...
Get your license...
Apply for a job...
Work is hard...
As an LPN, you can get up to $25/hr as an agency nurse in New York City.
Good luck!
