hello everyone..I am new here. I have just been accepted into a nursing school and I am nervous about what to expect. Is it hard?

I wouldn't say hard, but very demanding.

Expect to work hard. You are joining a group of people who desire to help others maintain or attain physical/emotional/social wellness. It's not a job for the weakhearted but for those who achieve the title "nurse", it is well deserved.

Just do the best you can!! All you can do is all you can do.
Take copious notes, record lectures...listen intently in clinicals...observe the instructors...oh, and NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE GOAL...RN!!! That is a HUGE help. It seems like forever..."only 6 semesters to go"...only 3 semesters to go...5 more clinicals....but you CAN get thru this!!

Learn all you can.

You can do it, just like everyone has said. Be sure to have support at home, expect to study alot and DO NOT procrastinate. Keep one calendar for school and keep it current. Students that fail are those who often believe they can "do it later". For the most part, when you wait till the last minute--it shows! Good luck!
