Hello, I am a senoir nursing student, from an ADN program, ready to graduate in May 07. I hope to get alot of advice from you seasoned nurses to help with my new career. I am married with 3 children and I work 24 hrs a week. School has been stressful, yet fun. I love to learn and share my knowledge with others. I believe I was called to be a nurse. I have wanted to be a nurse since I was a child, but now I know it was truly meant to be. God has called me to be of service to others and to inspire and motivate. I am thankful for the opportunity to learn.:mortarboard:
Hi, maybe you can give me some advice. My class is in the midst of active recruitment. We are still trying to make it out in May. I already work at a hospital, who's footing the bill for my education. The hiring lady says I should go ahead and start the application process, before the departments get full. I'm currently on an OB/Peds rotation. I love OB, so it's an option. Everyone is telling me that I should start out on a Med/Surg floor to get some experience. I plan on furthering my education, with hopes of obtaining a Master's oneday. What do you think?
