Question respiratory care pract. to RN via distance learning

Hi, this is my first time posting. I've been a stay at home mom for the past 5 yrs. but have a current RCP license in the stse of WI. Problem is I haven't practiced as a clinician since 1990. All of my 25+ yrs. work experience has been in heath care, but prior to having my son (at age 42) I had been working in management, business develpement, etc.
I worked in acute care in a hospital for 8 yrs, then 3-4 in homecare before going into sales then management.
I've now gone full circle. I moved from Chicago to No. Wisconsin (the northwoods) to raise my son. Healthcare, especially nursing has alot of poetential here. It seems I can get my ASN in about 1.5 yr then go onto BSN from there.
Has anyone done this? I'm looking at Exclesior. Any other good prgrams out there for RT's wanting to be RN's?

How much online and computer work does this require? I'm old school and like to read "away" from a screen!

Welcome. Good luck to you. Check out the Distance Learning Forum. There are lots of EC students there, although I'm not sure of how many RT's. http://allnurses.com/forums/f125/
