Hello, I am new to this forum my name is Barbara, I have worked in many areas but when I came to Washington in 1988, I eventually wound up in psych nursing at the state mental hospital as I needed full-time work with no go home due to low pt. census. Having been there 18 years, through some very difficult times, I am now very concerned as I have been informed psychologists and a variety including a recreational therapist will now be supervising the nursing supervisors as program managers. They have no nursing knowledge but will supervise with the "aid" of a nurse manager. I feel this is a sad as I am a very capable supervisor and am seeking input and any legal recourse I may be able to follow.
