Howdy folks,
I am an OLLLLDDD nurse, graduated in '80 and have worked different areas from Med/Surg to ED to Detox to Long Term Care and now I am a Director of a Med/Surg unit at a District hospital in Southern California and a Wound care specialist.
Had to become management scum due a back injury (No, not from work, from flying off a horse!) and Latex allergies.

This is a fun site, I hope to get a lot of my new grad staff involved here.

Welcome! (I guess I'm young, it took me a minute to get the "new kid on the block" connection to you being a new member, I was thinking - what does New Kids on the Block have to do with nursing? )
