I am new to this site. I'm considering a career in nursing. I have three children and within the next 3 years, they will all be in school and I want to be able to at least start some sort of career. I would appreciate it if anyone has any advice or knows any real good websites I can go to that may better explain what I need to do to point myself in the right direction. Look forward to reading more on the website....seems great!
Thanks,
Gina

Welcome. The place to start would be your local nursing school and talk to an advisor in person.

There are several options for nursing from LPN, to associate degree RNs to bachelor degreed RNs.

You can start taking pre-requisit courses and co-requisite courses right away such as English, Math, etc.

There are also plenty of bulletin boards to ask questions and people here are always happy to help.

Good luck to you.
