Newbie from CA!

Hello allnurses.com,

I was just reading a thread that was discussing male mid-wifes and it really encouraged me to continue my goal of becoming a Nurse Pactitioner specializing in mid-wifery or ob/gyn.

I a student at a community college just trying to become an LVN. My goal is to go from LVN, to ADN, to BSN, to MSN and finally to be practicing in the specialty of mid-wifery or something very similar (I would love neonatology too!). I'm a guy so that is why the topic about male mid-wifes was quite inspirational.

I love videogames, working on my website, composing music and writing stories. I love learning although school makes it a pretty stressful experience.

Thank you for making a lovely nursing community!

Re: Newbie from CA!

Thanks for welcoming me, bro.

I was wondering, why are there so many advertisements on the forum? I can't put a simple ".com" tagline but I have to deal with all of these advertisement graphics? Oh well, just curious.

Thanks again and I'll see you around!

Yep, the ads can be a bit distracting. It's not as bad for Premium Members, the ads are mainly on the side.
