New nurse and new to allnurses.com

Hello all! I just wanted to introduce myself. I graduated May 7th, took boards May 29th and began working on a med/surg floor June 11th. It feels very strange to be out of school. I still feel like I need to be studying or doing some sort of school work ALL THE TIME. I live in South Carolina. Any and all suggestions are welcome. I worked on mother/baby as a PCA exactly one year before I graduated and decided about 2 weeks before graduation to go to a med/surg floor. It is hard being the new kid on the block. Even though my badge says "RN" like the others they still tend to treat me differently. Thanks for listening!!
I look forward to talking with you all.

HI---I am member of AN since yesterday. Like your self, I am class of 2007. Reading your intro was nice. I am happy for you because of the transition from student nurse to RN. Pls take good care and take it easy in your first year!

I am a new member, joined a few days ago. I have been a nurse for two years and I am interested in hearing from other nurses. Happy 4th to all. Amy
