This Board is great, I first found it when my wife was in school back in 2001. Now is my turn to become an RN. I am in my second semester and will start clinicals next week. I have 2 children (boy 9 & girl 6), 2 fish (timone and pumba) 1 cat (zazu) and a dog named (simba). My wife is a CCRN and works on a critical care floor. I am going to the same school she went to. The school is at the Hospital actually. I have 2 full days at the college and 3 days at the Hospital, so managing time is an utmost importance. The only bad thing is all instructors know my wife and have HIGH expectations for me, so I have a little challenge. I am an EMT and work 1 24hr shift per week along with a couple of fire calls per week as I am with my local fire department. I am looking forward to joining in on conversations on the boards(when I am not studying). oh one more thing

Have a topic to discuss or question to ask? Go to the list of forums, pick the forum that best matches, and post in there (PG 13 language ALWAYS). You will get feedback. So, check back often.


To make a post in a forum, just go to that forum and post like you did here if someone has already created it...your post is a reply response.

To create your own new thread (the first post to start off feedback), you do this:
In any forum, go to the top yellow bar and towards the right, you will see something that reads--> Forum Tools. It is a pull down menu. Click it. In that menu, you will see--> Post a New Thread. Click that.

And there you go.....just follows what it tells you.

If your nursing related question does not fit any particular forum and is a general nursing related topic, post it in our General Nursing Discussion forum.
