Hi,

I'm Claudia and new to this group, but have been a nurse since 1966. In my career, I have been in OR as a scheduling manager, open heart circulator as well as ortho and general surgery. I have worked in a medical clinic for several years and am a rural nurse who is now an OR manager in a smaller rural hospital. This week we have just completed passing the DOH State and Critical Access Hosp. survey, and I have turned in my capital budget for 2006. I'm ready to take it easy.

I appreciate reading others thoughts and questions regarding nursing and how it is changing. I will probably post threads from time to time, but really am interested in reading them.

Happy "4th" to you all and hope you have a safe and happy one.
Claudia
