New MDS Coordinator

Hello all, My name is Scott and I recently got promoted to MDS coordinator to a 291 bed Long term care nursing home facility in FL. I am confident 90% undestanding of PPS, but was kind of kept in the dark of some things due to previous MDS coordinators fear of job security. Does anyone aware of literature that is not so confusing on the PPS process?

I've been an MDS co-ordinator for 3 years, one of your best resources on-line is www.aanac.org AANAC also offers online education and certification. They have a discussion group too that you don't have to be a member to join.

But if you have specific questions you can PM me.
