New to HH Nursing

Hello everyone, I am a med surg nurse of 4 years, and I am making the transition into homecare in June. I am looking for a change of pace from the 12 hr nights that I have been working..I find that I am always in a rush, and becoming burnt out, rarely have time for a break or even to eat my food.. trying to get to my 8-9 patients per shift..with a full ER calling for beds!! 3 day shifts are not what people think because the 2-3 days off in between I am so tired that I don't get anything done..I know HH is not a walk in the park but I am hoping it is a fulfilling change as well as allow me some much needed down time..I welcome any advice from nurses who are in HH care or making the transition from hospital to HH like myself..Thanks in advance
