new to the crew

Hello my name is Tara and I am in the LPN program getting ready to graduate in December. Thank God! I am very excited about startiing my new career and learning new skills. I was wondering about the online programs for LPN to RN, has anyone taken these courses before? I really want to get my RN but do not want to actually sit through lecture after lecture for 12 more months. I have spoke with someone through the College Network in Indiana and it sounds too good to be true. I am just wondering how you can get a RN degree without stepping foot in an actual classroom.. I guess I am a little old fashioned, but I hate to sign up for the program and it all be a joke. Please give me some advice. Thanks
