I'm a nursing student from LA.
OK, actually I am on the fence about whether I should go on with Nursing or try out Surg Tech, but it's nursing right now!

I live in BR, have a wondrous DH, 4 kiddies and a variety of pets!

Well just let me be the first to welcome you to our little family! I think that you will find it to be a very nice place (most of the time) to hang out! As for your career choise, My vote is to go for the nursing, cause in the long run you will have many other options to choose from as compared to being a scrub tech. Just my thought.

I'm a surgical technologist and I love it. I get to travel and meet new people. It is a wonderful career.


If I had known how much "trauma" I would have to go through to get my surg tech certificate, I would have started with nursing and gotten my school's periop certificate that teaches you to scrub!!
