LPN-RN Online through Excelsior College

Hi everyone!
I am an LPN for 9 years now. I completed my first year of the BSN program but I am now considering completing my RN online through Excelsior College. I would like to hear from other LPN's who are doing their LPN-RN online through EC or anyone who has completed.
How long will it or did it take you to complete, and does anyone know if EC graduates are recognized in Texas?

EC grads are alive and well in TX. TX has no problem licensing EC grads. The program depends on you, move as fast or slow as you want.

I thought Excelsior (Regents when I graduated) was awesome. I am ever so glad I did it. It is not however an online program.

Agree... EC is a marvelous program.. takes a LOT of stubborn dedication , motivation, and willpower.. but it is superb.

NOT an online program. Self study and computerized testing except for the grand finale at the end, the much dreaded CPNE.

Depending on your motivation and study habits, it will take you anywhere from a month to 6 weeks per course.. some who just "scan" the material might do it faster. I like to KNOW my stuff inside and out.. need to digest every word before I can retain it, so I was one who took about 6 weeks per course.. A&P even longer.

Good Luck and enjoy.. what EVER you decide !

I never said anything about it being an online program.
