looking for someone who knows

Hi!
I'm Cathy, RN. I've been a nurse for 10 years in all sorts of areas from ICU to children's psych to clinical research. Now I have a situation. A nurse who I supervised is on diversion. She reported to my superior that I smelled of alcohol. I now understand that a report was made to the BRN. I wonder what I should expect. I have left that facility, but am afraid to even look for another job fearing that when a potential employer called to verify my license with BRN they would be told it was under investigation. This was five weeks ago and I have not heard from the BRN. Anyone know how long until I might recieve a letter or how I could find out if a complaint was even actually filed with them. Right now I feel in limbo. Actually, I found this site while I was on a search engine looking for info about diversion. What a great website this is. I can't believe I didn't find it before, except I've been so busy with work and going to school (working on MSN) that I never have time to play around on the net. Thanks to anyone who has suggestions where I could look for more info.
