As i sit on the long two year wait list to become a lpn, to progress to my rn i am wondering if there are any surgical nurses out there that could share with me to provide a glimpse into your world. My intrest is surgical nursing ,especially cosmetic. Any advice would be much appriciated, especially in the S.E. mich area!

Hi Dani71,
I didn't work in the OR as an LPN or RN, but as a surgical technician aka (scrub). Anyway, did you see that allnurses has a forum for Operating Room Nurses? There is a "sticky" there titled, "So, you're observing in the Operating Room" which is excellent!
