Hello All.......I am new here, though, I was a member a long time ago, but never got on here much then. I hope to gain a lot of knowledge here and make some new friends. I am an LPN, not working right now because I recently moved to another state, and am trying to find out how to get my license transferred. I would appreciate any input on the matter. Again, I am glad to be a part of your community.

Rhonda

Good luck Rhonda. Usually the BON of where you moved to is the one to contact about transfering. Good luck.

Thanks for the info Tweety. That's actually what I thought, but wasn't quite sure. I once transferred from Louisiana to Arkansas, and only had to pay a fee of 100.00 to the state of Arkansas. Didn't have to re-test or anything. I live in Kentucky now, and don't know how they do things here. I'll just have to call them I guess. Not in any big hurry right now, cause I don't plan on going back to work real soon. Just need to keep my license in order you know. Again, thanks !! Rhonda

That's how it works in all the states Rhonda. You pay for the new license put you don't have to retest.

Good luck.

Re: longtime nrs

No, but if it's like here in Florida, they've raised it over years.
