Good morning to everyone. I have been searching the internet in hopes of finding some support and advise for passing the NCLEX when I came accross this wonderful site. Apparently my good GPA in nursing school doesn't mean much when it comes to that one final test...
At any rate, I graduated in May of this year (2006) with an AAS degree in Nursing and was able to get a very good job even before graduation in the Family Care Unit (OB, PP, NS & PEDS). I love it and my fellow staff are very supportive and wonderful to work with. Now... if I could just figure this thing out I could actually start applying everything I have learned and enjoy bedside patient care to it's fullest.
This is simply supposed to be my intro so I won't go into details here. I am sure there is a better place for discussing my NCLEX experience so far.
About me, I am 39 years old, married for 20 years to a wonderfully supportive man and have 3 children who are equally supportive! My oldest son will soon be 21, my second son will soon graduate Marine Boot Camp (10/06) and my youngest is my only girl at the very emotional age of 15.
