Smile Introduction: eICU worries

I am a nurse with 22 years experience in CVICU. I came to this website originally to search for opinions on eICU--our unit is getting one and I think this is a threat to the nurse patient relationship. I look forward to getting opinions about this. I am currently pursuing an MSN/ED. I love the website so far.

Welcome to allnurses.com! The topic of eICUs has been discussed here in a handful of threads (topics), here are just a few if you have not found them already:

Remote Control Doctors & Nurses
eICU Concept
eICU: Useful or useless?
VISICU or EICU..heard of this?
eICU...is it for you?

You might want to jump in the conversations and post your opinion. I hope you enjoy your time here at allnurses.com!
