introduction

hello I have been reading the postings and am now deciding to post myself. I am just saying hi. I have been a nurse for 17 plus years and recently just started back to school to get my BSN on line. It is very challanging.

Cool Introduction

Hello, This is my very first posting. I've been around for a few years. I am a three year hospital diploma RN who soon will have obtained my BSN (August). I will then take my Psych Certification test. I'm still dreaming 'big' and plan on entering the masters program for Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nursing. I still believe in the philosophy that you are as old as your age or as young as you feel (whatever turns your crank). I don't eat my 'young' but rather enjoy working with new or recently graduated nurses. They can teach me and I can teach them is my personal attitude. I made a promise to myself years ago that if I ever got like what we student nurses called the "old ones" in nursing, I'd hang up my cap. Well we don't wear caps anymore so I can't do that but I love nursing more today than when I was a spanking new RN--2oots
