Cool Introduction

Hello All! I have been enjoying this website, reading posts a while, now thought it may be time to say HI. I have been a part time student for 3 years and will be starting clinicals next March 2008. I am looking forward to getting some hands on training. Havent made any predictions as to what will interest me more since I was once advised by a nurse that what you think you might like and what you think you wont may be completely opposite.. I look forward to the learning and the chance to see what I really do lean towards. I am 38 yrs old, single mom (divorced-- almost 2x, got smart enough not to marry the 2nd )) whew.!!!!!!!!! Anyhow, about 4 years ago the company I work for started the downsizing, reorganization thing and even though I wasnt let go it made me take a serious look at my life, after many tests and thinking sessions, nursing seemed like a good fit so began the long journey..
