Increasing number of male nurses

What are your thoughts on the increasing number of male nurses? Are they capable of offering the quality of care a female nurse is?

Absolutely.

Why do you ask? Do you have doubts, and if so, why?

of course they can. I work under the assumption we are all doing our best and that is what I expect of my co-workers, regardless of age, gender or race.

I have had the pleasure of working with several male nurses. They are great! Why wouldn't they be capable of offering the same quality of care? I love working with male nurses especially when I need extra help pulling a patient up or something.
