Hi from Sydney!

Hi Everyone,

I have just joined allnurses after 3 years of reading the newsletter. I have just completed my degree in Sydney, Australia and start my new grad program in Feb 2007. I started my degree in Fort Worth, Texas, but returned home with my 2 kids. I am considering a move back to the USA, I will need to do some research on salaries etc.

It is such a relief to be finally done with my degree after 4.5 years and most of it as a single mom. So to all the women out there who are considering a degree/diploma, please be reassured that it can be done, sacrifices do have to be made. It is definately worth it though.

Bye for now

Re: Hi from Sydney!

hi, I am a nursing student in New York. I will finish my BS degree this May and because of the visa retrogression (I am Cambodian), I am worried that I can't stay and work in the U.S., I am thinking of moving to either Canada or Australia (prefer the warm country). I would like to know why you decide to move back to the U.S, is the living condition in AU not as good? Thanks for your response.
