Wink Hi I'm not a nurse or doctor

Hello Every one,
I'm not a nurse or doctor but have been to enough to be one. I have had alot of hospital stays in my day and I'm here to tell you that nurses are the best. they give more attention to your needs than any doctor. they listen and do what they can to make you as comfortable as possible. I was recently in the hospital for divirticulitis and they nurses were great. I had only one problem, I had to have a cat scan and the tech said she had to use a larger needle and my hand was already awollen 4 times more than it should. as a result it caused phlebitis in my had and some nerve damage. If it hadn't been for the nurse moving the iv to another site it probably would have been worse. I just want to thank all the nurses every day who have to put up with unruly pateints and personally thank them for being there. god bless every one.

I hope I made you feel better you deserve it. Most people don't realize just hoe challanging and hetic a nurses job is. some body always ring the buzzer asking for any thing but what they need. They have to realize that your job is more than just one patient. You have a lot of oyher thing to do and can't get to them all at the drop of a hat. Some people who truly don't need any thing will ring just to see if you will respond. Not me unless I'm in really bad pain I waould just like to be left alone to rest. Again thank you for doing your job above and beyond the call of duty.
