Smile Hi Everyone!!

I'm a Pre-Nursing student located in Maine. A&PI this semester, Micro in the Spring then actual Nursing program Fall of 2007. It's been a long haul, but so happy my pre-reqs will be out of the way!!

I am a Certified Medical Assistant (ADN/AAMA Certification) and work in a busy Family Practice under a DO. This semester because I am taking 13 credits I cut down to Mon/Wed and Friday's at the office with my doctors permission

I'm mom to 3, My daughter has completed 1 year of Nursing School, but is heading to bootcamp next month for the Air National Guards, so she will be taking this year off from school. My two boys are in High School, 10th and 11th grade. And married to my bestfriend Keith who keeps reminding me to stay focused on my dream and goals.

I look forward to being an active member here and learning from each of you, and hopefully forming a few friendships along the way.

Jenny

Re: Hi Everyone!!

Hello Jenny67. I too am new! Great advice here and decided to keep looking in hopes for advice, encouragement and support. I have three children too, HAVE to work to pay the bills, and a hubby that works but can't do it all on his own. He and I have worked out a plan that I have three 1/2 years to get my RN degree and start working before my son graduates and goes to college. I AM STRESSED!! I am working on pre-recs...A&P which is pretty demanding and Nutrition which is ok. Help!! Do you have any advice as to how to do it all and still stay calm?
