Smile Hi all!

Hello everyone,

I've been lurking on here for a few months now...I thought it was about time I introduced myself.

I've always been unsure of what I wanted to "do" with my life career-wise. All I knew was that I was always called "mama" by all my friends since I was a little girl. I'm always taking care of everyone. I'm 23, married, and about to finish my Associate Degree (General Education) in May. It hit me last semester that nursing was calling me. I took a few months and researched the heck out of nursing positions, units, education, etc. My aunt was also a great resource as she was a nurse for a very long time and then became a nursing recruiter. I finally decided that it was undeniable that nursing is what I am supposed to do.

So, I will hopefully start in the ADN program at my school in the fall of '09. I wish it could be sooner...but no dice. I'll be taking A&P II and Microbiology, as well as a few other courses that can be completed pre-program until then. And, I will indeed be lurking the boards!! I'm glad to be here and to be a part of the great group of people here. Thanks in advance for all the help and guidance you all are providing!!
