Smile Hi all

Hi,
Justed wanted to stop by and say "hello" to everyone. I have 3 kids and I am married to a wonderful man. I decided a few weeks ago to change my studies from Psy. to Nursing. I was wondering how many years does it take to get your degree to become a RN? I heard it was two and that it was one year for a LPN..is this all true? Anyways, I will be changing over this Friday becuase even though I love Psy. I just don't want to do the 5 years and still have a hard time finding a job. I know that there is a high demand for nurses and I thought about it when I was younger but I decided too act on it now.
Thanks everyone for listening and have a great day

Re: Hi all

Hello and welcome. It depends on the state you live in. Our state has 2 and 4 year degree options. 4 year nurses have expanded opportunities and more pay. Some states require 4 years BSN for you to sit for the booards. Check with your BON> Good Luck!
Don't stop with LPN!!!!
