Hello from West Central Florida

Hello everyone!

My specialty is OB...I had been doing that for 25 years. Three years ago I was injured on the job and am no longer able to do bedside nursing.

I hated to lose all that I had worked so hard for so now, I own my own Legal Nurse Consulting Business. I also was hired two days ago to teach OB to LPN students at the local college...and I've signed up for an Online Nursing Program to get my BS.......I believe this is called "A Full Plate"!

My interests of course would be anything about Legal Nurse Consulting, Obstetrics, Neonatology, being a new nursing instructor and getting a BSN on line.

Any and all comments welcome.
Debbie

I'm also new to this site, also in OB, LNC, and teaching (as adjunct this fall.) And if that isn't enough, still do part time nurse recruiting. I do not have own consulting business per se, have gotten cases by word of mouth, originally recommended by a physician friend and then have done cases for two law firms here in FL. I enjoy it and marvel at some of these cases, lots of "What were they thinking??" when I review. Welcome to the site, I think I'll enjoy it.

Welcome to the site. Wow....do you think we have some things in common? My consulting business was official June 19th. I'm still in the marketing phase and BOY....that in itself is a lot of work. Marketing to Lawyers and Insurance companies. There are so many attorneys who have no idea what a LNC can do for them. I have an assistant all lined up when my cases start coming in.
I miss OB very much....but I can share my excitement and enthusiasm with the students that I will teach. Have you taught before?
Debbie
