Hello!! I am New to All Nurses!

Greetings to all of you out there! I wandered into this web site last week, looking for information on nursing in AZ. I am fascinated by the postings and as a 'nurse wantabe' all of the postings are very interesting, albeit sometimes discouraging. Gave up a very lucrative career in order to go back to school and become a nurse. Wanted to do something other than earn money and wonder what happened to my life. It would appear from the posts regarding salaries, working conditions and many bad feelings, earning money won't be a problem here!

Anyway - thanks to all for your valuable time, inputs and comments. I find that everyone seems very supportive here and if nothing else, sticking together through the tough times.

Re: Hello!! I am New to All Nurses!

You will view much and various input on our board. Do not be discouraged too much from negative postings if you come across any. Nurses, like anyone else, have different and opposing views in and outside their profession...many are in transition like yourself, which engenders many feelings. Regardless, we are current and future nurses, coming to this community to post and read posts, and gaining the support and direction we need. Wish you the best in your own career pursuits.
