Talking Hello Eveyone!!!:)

I did post this in the Are you new thread but realized it was supposed to be posted here...lol anywho Hi to all! Let me just say that you guys and ladies are all a riot and are just out the ears packed full of information. I'm not inspiring to be a nurse exactly but a RT. Was majoring in CIS (Computer Information Systems) and unfortantely decided that it wasn't for me after almost years in school . My second choice in which I should chose in the first place was respiratory care since I've had severe asthma all my life and have been in the hospital for on average 3 to 4 weeks a year (alot more when I was younger) until recently where I have been able to keep it under control unless I'm really sick. I've experienced pretty much everything an RT does from ABGs to the vent and everything inbetween personally thank god they have been there for me. I also have met so many nurses I can't count it on my fingers and toes ten times..lol... I am greatful to have been treated by some really great nurses and RTs. I found this site looking up RT info and have been addicted to reading many many posts that have been posted here on allnurses.com . Just wanted to say hi and thanks for the great reading!
