Hi there, and welcome to allnurses.com !!!
And thanks for registering as a NEW MEMBER!
In our forums, you will find all the nursing news, support and direction that you will need as a new or seasoned nurse in the field. We have about 150 forums in total.
Our list of different forums is located here: http://allnurses.com/forums/
Have a topic to discuss or question to ask? Go the the list of forums, pick the forum that best matches, and post in there (PG 13 language ALWAYS). You will get feedback. So, check back often.
Just a few bulletin board reminders for New Members:
*Please refer to Terms of Service (TOS) often if you have questions (at the bottom of each page of the site) or ask a Moderator as you need for help.
*No soliciting , advertising or research for commercial purposes is allowed, unless approved by the site Administrator, Brian.
*Please remember, allnurses.com is *not* a medical advice site, therefore, we cannot allow anyone to ask questions of a medical nature for themselves or family/friends, or give medical advice for others. If you have questions of a medical nature, it is best to seek advice from your health care provider or a pharmacist.
*If you come across a post that is offensive, attacking or in any other way violates our Terms of Service (TOS), please report it, by clicking on the red triangle on the bottom left of each page. A moderator will take care of the situation promptly.
*There are a lot of situations where disagreements/debates arise. Allnurses.com encourages lively debate and discussion, as long as members remain respectful of each other. No "flaming" of other members is allowed and if someone does this to you, please do not respond directly. Instead, report the post and let the moderator team take care of this for you.
* Important Final Note: Please protect your privacy at this very large, world-wide website. We request you do NOT publically post real name or email addresses here at allnurses.com. If your UserName/board name is the same as your real full name, please contact Admin for a new UserName. No full names are to be used as UserNames, unless cleared by staff. Protect your personal identity.
* To change your UserName, submit 3 new UserNames to Administrator -->brian. He will pick one, then contact you via private message (PM)...see top right of every page to access it.
The link to submit your 3 new UserName choices to brian is:

We not only value our members...we also value their anonymity as well.

Now go to the list of forums, pick the forum that best matches, and post in there (PG 13 English language ALWAYS). You will get feedback. So, check back often.
Let this decision tree help you get started:
If you are a Pre-Nursing Student--->we have a Pre-Nursing Student forum.
If you are a Current Nursing Student--->we have two forums for you.
1) General Nursing Student Discussion forum for support by your peers
2)Nursing Student Assistance forum to help with school projects
If you are preparing for the NCLEX-->we have our NCLEX Discussion forum
If you are a Current LPN--->we have the LPN/LVN Corner forum and others of interest.
If you are a LPN to RN Student---> we have a LPN to RN forum.
If you are a Current RN--->we have many forums for you.
If you are in Nursing Grad School--->we have a Graduate Student Nurse forum
If you are an Advanced Practice Nurse--->we have your specialty forum.
If you are a nurse in career transition--->we have a Nursing Career Advice forum.
And lastly, our list of nursing specialties is exhaustive...each has its own forum.
Go here---> Allnurses List of Forums
To make a post in a forum, just go to that forum and post like you did here if someone has already created it...your post is a reply response.
To create your own new thread (the first post to start off feedback), you do this:
In any forum, go to the top yellow bar and towards the right, you will see something that reads--> Forum Tools. It is a pull down menu. Click it. In that menu, you will see--> Post a New Thread. Click that.
And there you go.....just follows what it tells you.

At this time, we would also like all new members to review the board's Terms of Service. Please review them often.
The Terms of Service may be found here: ---> Terms of Service
The Terms of Service (or TOS) are the board's governing guidelines. These guidelines ensure that all posters are welcome and free from flaming/soliciting posts. We want all posters to have a productive and enjoyable environment. Debates are welcome...but, debate also needs to be respectful. The guidelines ensure this. The link for this is also at the bottom of each page.
We as moderators are there for you and to ensure that the TOS guidelines are followed. If you notice, each forum has at least one moderator. The assigned moderators are listed at the top right of each forum page. Feel free to contact the moderator if you have a concern that you are unsure of. If you need to report a bad post or a post that is outside the Terms of Service, you can report it by clicking the icon...which is found to the left of every post. Moderators will follow up on it once reported.
