Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am a 36-year-old female from Alabama. I will be beginning my pre-req's for RN degree this Thursday at our local CC. I will be taking H&P I and Int. College Algebra. I am sooo excited to FINALLY have to opportunity to do this. My youngest of three will be beginning kindergarten in the fall, so I will now have the time to finally get my degree! I spent 13 years in office administration and the past 5 years doing medical transciption at home. Being an RN will be a dream come true for me, and I can't wait!!!!

Welcome! I am also new here! I am 38 and am just finishing up my first year of nursing at a CC here in Michigan!! I will be taking my LPN boards this summer and beginning my second year in the fall! (2 more semesters left!!) You will not be sorry that you made this choice! My family and I have made alot of lifestyle changes, however, there is a light at the end of our tunnel! Good Luck!
