Hi everyone.

I am very pleased to find this forum. I am a CNA in New York. I took the course at a tech school and it was completely funded by NYS. I even received a voucher from NYS to get my uniform and shoes for clinical. I have only been employed as a CNA for a little over 3 months. I work for a large state funded nursing home. I plan to go on for my LPN in September

I look forward to meeting all of you, and especially discussing career related issues wth like minded individuals.

Where in NY are you? I am on LI and am looking for a cheap CNA class but am having trouble. How did you hear about your class?

WElcome Krissy! I too am in NYS...Southwestern. I have one semester in pre-nursing and start the 2 year RN program in the fall. It is fabulous here!!! If you are near me, send me a PM and we can talk about local things!
