Smile Hello

Hello to everyone. I just registered for this site and am still trying to find my way around.
I am a pre-nursing student in Michigan--I'll find out in June whether or not I'm accepted into the program (praying like crazy for now). I've done everything possible to ensure a seat in the program--there are only 30 seats at my school. I'm hoping that a 4.0 gpa will guarantee my seat!
I still can't believe I'm doing this at 35 years old, but I'm so glad that I am. I think that nurses are some of the most special individuals in the world. Anyways, I look forward to finally being able to communicate with people with the same interest.

Re: Hello

Hi Cammillia! I feel the same way. I'm a pre nursing student with a 3.75gpa and I have every part of my body crossed and every member of my extended family has been praying. I won't know until May and I doubt I do get in, as I transferred and they look at students who took all their pre reqs here first. I transferred from a cc and it was soooooooo hard to get in. At the time, I had a 4.0gpa and scored in the 98% percentile. My advisor said not to worry, I'm getting in. Get the letter several weeks later and I read 'We regret' and started bawling. Didn't leave my house for 2 weeks.

But I sincerly hope you get in. Wishing you loads of luck!!
