The "stickeys" are the at the top of the list of threads in the forum. They are "stuck" in that they don't move from the top and are there as a reference. Other posts move down the forum as they age and become less active. These "stickeys" stay at the top.

Thanks to allnurses.com and all members who are willing and very helpful to newbies like me. I also want to say that this is the best site to go for news, forums and intellectual discussions.

Now my question is how can I start a new thread or new topic for disscussion? Please help me.

O.K. am still confused-I was sent an email that says LadyNurse 2B responded to my question ref posting and navigating and the thread was posted here- so I went here and see no answer from you
Lady Nurse 2B please advise thanks - To any of the nurses please feel free to send me a PM (private message) if you don't want to clog up threads with explanations thanks a lot- great info and insights can't wait to get started and get to know all of you- newbie

You probably received an email notification of a thread you are subscribed to. LadyNurse2B posted above you in this thread, but she wasn't directly responding to you, she was asking a question herself in a thread you have specified that you want email notification everytime someone posts.

hi,i am very lost right now. i've been traveling around the web site trying to figure out how to even get started.how do i post other messages and respond to people.i'm not quite ready to start a topic.just trying to figure out basic communication.can you help......not to computer savy.......

On the first yellow line above, click "User CP", scroll to "Edit Profile", it is one of the options on that profile. Good luck.
