I go to google.com and do a search on the allnurses.com domain. for example i was trying to find threads about vcu but the allnurses search said my word was too short. on google i type vcu site:allnurses.com. so on google you type your word or phrase site:allnurses.com

hope this helps
pshs_2000, thanks for helping out There is even an easier way that will save you a step. At the bottom of every page here is a box to search google, and there is an option to just use google to search allnurses.com, check the allnurses.com option and presto, you're using google to search allnurses.com see attachment

To make a post in a forum, just go to that forum and post like you did here if someone has already created it...your post is a reply response.

To create your own new thread (the first post to start off feedback), you do this:

In any forum, go to the top yellow bar and towards the right, you will see something that reads--> Forum Tools. It is a pull down menu. Click it. In that menu, you will see--> Post a New Thread. Click that.

And there you go.....just follows what it tells you.

Thank you again for joining and becoming a member.
I am positive that you will be most pleased.

I have been here for a few months but have a question too.
Is there a quick way to post in color? I've just been inserting the code and guessing at color names until I get one I like.

Be sure you are clicking the "remember me" box when you log in. Otherwise, you will be logged out automatically after a period of time. If you click the "remember me" box, you will stayed logged in until you log out. Hope that helps.

Just highlight the text you want to change the format/color, then pull click on A with the black line under it (see attachment) and choose color. Hope that helps.

Re: Have a question in how to use our board and find things?...post here

Hello to everybody,
I don't want to bother you, but I 'm new in the USA, in Cleveland,OH and in this forum. I have so many questions and I don't know if somebody will answer me and if they will answer me where I will receive the answers.
In Romania where I'm originally, I graduated a three years nursing school and I worked for another three years in an hospital. I married with my husband in Cleveland, OH, where I'm living now.In Ohio at Cleveland State University they recognized only two years degree.
Actually now I passed an exam for STNA and I'm working as a nurse's aide in a Manor Care facility.
Now I have cuple questions :
I want to prepare myself for a NCLEX exam and I don't know where I can prepare.I asked around here in Cleveland, OH, but I didn't find a place where I can prepare the NECLEX. Some places (private tutors) are very expenses (they are asking $US 4,000), and we don't have so much monney to pay for them and in the colleges and in universities they prepare only for two days, time which is not enough to prepare for NECLEX.
Can you refer to a place where I can prepare for my NECLEX in resonable conditions ?
If somebody can refer to a very well payd place where I can work as a nurse's aide.
Again I apologies for my long email and I'm waiting for your answers.
