Greetings!

Just wanted to pop in and say a great big HELLO to everyone! I have received the newsletters and lurked around on the forums for years, and even had a membership at one time many years ago. I have decided to "delurk" and join in with everyone!

I am a "late-life" nurse and became an RN after 40! This forum was a great resource to me while attending my ADN program. I went on to get my BSN in 2004---lots of hard work, but my proudest accomplishment---such a boost to my nursing knowledge base and ability to view nursing challenges in a more global way! I have worked mostly in the fields of community health and gerontology.

I am married, live in the Pacific Northwest, have two very spoiled cats, and as you can tell by my username, I love to knit as my main hobby and relaxation method.

Nice to meet everyone---stop by and say HI! :Ball:

Re: Greetings!

What a cool sign on.... congrats on your accomplishments... I am 41 (ugghhh) and am currently doing my RN to BSN (here in Canada) then hope to go right into my Masters. It is such a long haul but I am loving it.... I have tried THREE times to learn to crochet but am JUST NOT ABLE to do it. I start out making a square and it ends up being a triangle!!!! I give up. Anyways, welcome to the site!
