Graduation in site!

Hello all! I'm going to be graduating with my ADN in the spring and I am really excited about starting my new career! (It sounds strange to say that.)

I have a couple of questions to ask if anyone would be willing to answer. First, what is the best piece of advice that you can give to someone new to nursing? I was extremely nervous when I started the program in college but my confidence grew with everything I have learned. Now that I will be entering back into the real world soon, the thought of doing all of this on my own is making me feel anxious.

My second question is what keeps you motivated/dedicated to nursing? In my heart I feel as though I will be able to move mountains when I've graduated but my brain tells me otherwise.

Good luck to you in your career. When you start, remember to be flexible. Have a good support system in place. It takes time to get used to being on your own.
