Hi! am new to this forum. Small community hospital,28 bed postpartum area under a single manager of L&D, NBN, SCN and us. We HATE to float-to be the stable for the rest of the hospital. Have been given the opportunity to "close" our unit as the L&D and nursuries have. Any ideas? 12 hour shifts, 60 call slots and 20 staff members. We do not want to reinvent the wheel- send us your solutions. Thanks, bsg rnc in Tulsa,OK.
